Sweet Potato Tortillas
Homemade Sweet Potato Tortillas, soon turned into tortilla chips, because who doesn't love a salty crunchy snack?!
These only require 4 ingredients and they're packed with all the beta carotene and fiber that sweet potatoes pack
For 4 tortillas you'll need
• 1/4 cup @hearthyfoods sweet potato flour
• 1/2 cup cassava flour
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp warm water
Combine your ingredients together, then knead into a ball of dough
Divide into 4 balls. Flatten and roll into 4 tortillas
Preheat a cast iron skillet with avocado oil, and when hot place 1 tortilla on your pan and cook 1-2 minutes per side, until slightly crisped and starting to brown
Remove from pan and place on plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil
You can enjoy as is, use as tortillas, or make chips, too!
To make the chips:
Slice your naan/tortillas, place in air fryer, spray with avocado oil, and air fry at 400 4-5 minutes until your desired level of crispiness is achieved!
