Reese's Puffs Cereal!
Made with only 5 whole food ingredients, this version is simple to make, and will satisfy your cereal craving without the inflammatory oils and 5 different forms of sugar that traditional Reese's Puffs have.
You'll need (x2 1 for cocoa / 1 for peanut butter)
• 1/3 cup @hearthyfoods oat flour
• 1/4 cup date syrup
• 1/4 cup drippy peanut butter (just peanuts and salt as the ingredients)
For the peanut butter balls:
Add 3 tbsp cassava flour to above
For the cocoa:
Add 2 tbsp @hearthyfoods cocoa powder & 1 tbsp cassava flour to above
Working in 2 batches, combine all ingredients together, roll into tiny balls and place on parchment paper lined baking sheet
Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes, then allow to cool on the pan. They'll continue to cook a bit and fully harden into crunchy bites
Pour into your bowl and top with milk of choice! I like to combine almond milk & 1 scoop of protein powder as my milk to add a hefty dose of protein to make it a meal.
Note:
Can store remaining cereal in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
